Full Description
various travelers have mentioned encountering a small tribe east of Herat called "Mongol". The pushti seen here is part of a small group of weavings characterized by blue and rust palette and archaic designs. Perhaps this belongs to this small tribe. One cannot deny that this particular design is seen in many Mongol felts and textiles.
